DAISUKE KIYOMIYA

 

Bio

Sculptor Daisuke Kiyomiya born in Japan. After attending Tokyo Technical College ( Interior Design )1993-1995, He came to New York in 1998, enrolling 1999 at The Art Students League of New York. He learns Drawing from life, Modeling sculpture in clay,Carving Stone and Wood. He got Sculpture and Printmaking diploma 2007. He working based on Brooklyn NY that create sculpture small size to large scale sculpture using mainly organic materials such as clay, stone and wood.

Also he worked for B&H Art in Architecture as stone carver and general manager which is restoration company specially landmark building around NYC, carving stone for building ornaments, gothic window frame, arches and columns. ( New York Public Library, St Patrick Cathedral, Brooklyn Bridge , Trinity Church Wall Street, Tiffany & Co, Flick Collection, St.Paul Chapel, St.Thomas Church, NYPL Jefferson Market, Grace Church, Green Wood Cemetery, Public Theater, Players Club and more)
