Bio
Sculptor Daisuke Kiyomiya born in Japan. After attending
Tokyo Technical College
( Interior Design major ) 1993-1995, He came to New York in 1998,
enrolling 1999 at
The Art Students League of New York. He learns Drawing from life,
Sculpture Modeling
clay,Carving Stone and Wood. He got Sculpture and Printmaking
diploma 2007.
He working based on Brooklyn NY that create sculpture small size
to large scale using
mainly organic materials such as clay, stone and wood.
Also joined company called B&H Art in A2009
rchitecture which is specially doing landmark building restoration
around NYC and carving stone for building ornaments, gothic window
frame, arches and columns. ( New York Public Library, St Patrick
Cathedral, Flick Collection, St.Paul Chapel, Trinity Church Wall
Street, Jefferson Market, Grace Church, Green Wood Cemetery, Public
Theater, Players Club, Metropolitan Museum, and more)
